1. Introduction

Durg Yatra ("we", "our", "us") is a fort exploration and gamification app for Maharashtra. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

• Account info: name, email, profile photo (Google Sign-In or email signup)
• Username for the leaderboard
• Precise location (GPS) when you capture a fort or use the map
• Progress data: forts visited, points, quiz scores, streaks
• Photos you choose to upload
• Device info for crash/bug fixing
• Firebase Cloud Messaging push token

3. How We Use Information

• Verify fort captures near the fort location
• Show progress, leaderboards, and ranks
• Provide account features and support
• Send optional push notifications about treks/events

4. Location

Location is used to verify you are near a fort when capturing it and to show nearby forts. Visit GPS points are stored privately for your account and are not shared publicly.

5. Sharing and service providers

We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage, and Firebase for push notifications and Google Sign-In support. The app also uses OpenStreetMap map tiles and Open-Meteo weather data. These providers process only the information needed for the relevant app function. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete Account. This removes your auth account and associated game data.
